App Tips & Tricks
Community Challenge app makes it easier than ever for participants to enter their healthy actions to earn points, find healthy events nearby, and utilize FREE resources provided by It’s Time Texas! This updated and improved app is available for download once yo've registered online for the Community Challenge.
The Community Challenge app helps you track your activities, view the leaderboards, and receive announcements about the Challenge. It also shares events and activities happening in your community. Our goal is to connect you to the best resources and support systems that will keep you motivated during the eight-week challenge and beyond.
App Features
- Report a Healthy Action: Throughout the Challenge, you’ll report your healthy actions through the app in order to earn points! This year, you have the option to share a picture of your success with your community, or “report only”, still earning points without needing to share an image.
- Organizing an ActivityAs a participant of the Challenge, we encourage you to create, host, and share events that are happening in your community. Create your own health-related event, such as a walk in a neighborhood park, share with fellow community members, and encourage your friends to participate.
- Discover: See a map of the healthy places and activities near you!
- Community Feed: Here’s where you can see all the healthy actions your fellow community members are logging to earn points. Be inspired and inspire others during the eight-weeks!
- Health Data Syncing: This brand new feature allows you to sync your healthy actions from your Smart Watch or Device, so you can earn points from your 3rd party apps and devices you may use.
- Healthier Texas Resources: We offer various FREE resources for you to utilize throughout the Challenge, such as tele-heatlh coaching, virtual fitness classes, and so much more.
