February 2 - March 29, 2026
The Healthier Texas
Community Challenge
What's New for 2026?
Healthier Texas is excited to launch a new and improved Community Challenge, designed to make building healthier habits more engaging, supportive, and fun.
The Challenge runs February 2 – March 29 and brings Texans together to move more, connect more, and stay motivated through shared goals and community encouragement.
This year’s Community Challenge includes:
-
A new, easy-to-use app that will be free for Texans all year long
-
Bonus challenges and partner challenges to keep things fresh and motivating
-
Built-in tools that offer guidance, reminders, and support, like having motivation right in your pocket
-
An experience thoughtfully designed to be welcoming and accessible for our Spanish-speaking community
We love the timing. February is when motivation often dips, and this Challenge is a chance to reset, refocus, and build momentum together.
The app is now available!
Get Involved as an Organization or Community Partner
Want to make an even bigger impact? Organizations, businesses, schools, municipalities, and community groups can join the Challenge as partners by:
- Taking the Worksite Wellness: Commit to supporting health and wellness in your community.
- Accessing Free Resources: Toolkits, the app, and promotional materials equip you to inspire and support healthy change.
- Hosting or Promoting Events: Plug into our resources, host wellness events, or encourage participation within your networks.
By getting involved, you not only support your community’s health but also contribute to statewide efforts to make Texas a leader in wellness.
